:( too bad I don't have 3dsmax...I mean if you don't know how to model why would you spend like 300 on a program. We need tuts for XSI and other free modeling programs. I am sure this is good though, end product is hawt!

A lot of these methods work with gmax as well, try out modelling on GMax and then decide if 3D Studio Max is worth getting. For me, it don't get any better than 3D Studio Max.
This really helped me on learning to modle anything now! It was my first time ever modleing a gun that actuall lokked like a gun! The downloads were fast which I dled a couple of hours ago, and it was COMPLETLY noob friendly which I really liked.

Finally a tutorial that is simple to follow and explains each part. Excellent Job. I'll finally be able to make some decent models now.

I'm at the part of the 2nd tuturial where u scale a few faces of the planeto make an area 3d at the trigger, after I've selected all the edges I use the scale thing as shown in the vid but all the vertices fly off in seperate directions instead of moving how yours do in the vid :D

yea i downloaded ALL of the 9 vids. and im desperatly wondering on how to make models using 3ds max 9. The comments seem to make a nooby learn how. ive seen parts of video 8 and it looks really good. im glad some1 made a video tutorial. BUT I NEED PART 1!!!!!!!!!!

Finally finished this after working on little bits on random weekends. Great tuturial, and good job on what I think is one of the best tuturials I've ever read. I now feel I can model most stuff I was planning on :D
